Bob will be presenting an "Overview of School Medicaid for School Nurses" breakout session.

Many times, school nurses are not told the "why" of what they're doing in School Medicaid.  They're just told to fill out forms, turn in time, and document services without a full understanding of why these things are required.  In this session, we’ll cover explore some of the basics of School Medicaid to give the audience some foundational knowledge. 

In his work with school nurses around the country, Bob will also present some of the challenges that school nurses face as well as some ways they handle those challenges. He will include relevant information from the Nevada School Medicaid state plan.

Audience participation is not only encouraged, it's required.  I've dealt with some Nevada school nurses before - I'll be ready!
